MORTAL KOMBAT CHAOTIC ONAGA INPUTS SERIES
The main storyline of the series was later revisited in the 2011 Mortal Kombat reboot, the first production from the newly formed NetherRealm Studios. The next game in the series, which features an alternate timeline, was released exclusively on seventh generation consoles, the crossover title Mortal Kombat vs. Reaction to the game's custom Fatality feature was also mixed.Īrmageddon is the final Mortal Kombat game for sixth generation consoles and the first for seventh generation consoles with its release for the Wii. However, reviewers criticized the use of the same engine from the previous two games as well as the similar play styles between characters. The game was well-received, particularly for the large number of playable characters and the Konquest mode. Succeeding its predecessor "Puzzle Kombat" is a new mini game called "Motor Kombat", a cartoonish driving game influenced by Mario Kart. The game also includes the story-based Konquest mode from Deception, now casting the player as the warrior Taven, who must defeat his evil brother Daegon. They can also design a custom character using the "Kreate a Fighter" mode. Instead of the prescripted Fatalities of the previous games, players can now create their own Fatality from a series of gory attacks. The game play retains many of the same elements from the previous Mortal Kombat titles Deadly Alliance and Deception, including characters' multiple fighting styles. Players select one of them and battle a selection of the other fighters to determine the fate of the Mortal Kombat universe. Chronologically the final chapter in the original Mortal Kombat storyline, it features virtually every character from the previous games.

Chaotic Contortion - As a Chaosrealmer, Havik is capable of contorting his body in various ways that would cause fatal injury to other humanoids. With such power, Havik could usher in eternal chaos across the universe, but he would die in the battle before he could ascend the Pyramid of Argus. When the Battle of Armageddon took place in Edenia, Havik joined the Forces of Darkness as they fought to claim the power of Blaze for themselves. However, Onaga's heart was destroyed by the Edenian queen Sindel. Havik wanted to consume the heart and obtain Onaga's power to resurrect the dead. Havik would then step in and take advantage of the battle-weary heroes, distracting them long enough for him to claim Onaga's heart. When they returned to Outworld, Havik explained his plan to them: he would arrange for a confrontation between the heroes of Earthrealm and Onaga's forces, enabling them to defeat the Dragon King. He helped Kabal recruit two new members of his new Black Dragon: Kira and Kobra. The chaos cleric healed Kabal and told him that he would be able to restore the Black Dragon to prominence, thereby promoting chaos in Earthrealm. In Outworld, Havik encountered the Earthrealmer, Kabal, who had been left gravely wounded in battle. Thus, Havik travelled to Outworld to interfere with the Dragon King's plans. When the Dragon King Onaga returned to reclaim Outworld, Havik took this as a sign that the forces of order were amassing and were threatening to bring about the end of chaos in the universe. Throughout his life, Havik had worshipped chaos and had travelled the realms spreading disharmony and turmoil.
